In winter, the region is considered one of the coolest ski areas in the Alps. The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn offers guests 270 kilometres of pistes, 70 lifts and more than 50 comfortable lodges to stop off at for an enjoyable break. Apart from challenging pistes, blue and red zones offer the perfect terrain for the whole family and together with various toboggan runs, horse-drawn sleigh tours, winter hiking trails and much more, they perfectly complete the range of winter options in Saalbach. In Saalbach Hinterglemm you’ll find 400 kilometres of hiking trails and cool theme trails in summer. No matter if you’re looking for an alpine challenge or want to marvel at the alpine panorama on a leisurely walk – there is plenty to explore all around Hechenberg.

400 kilometres of bike routes and 80 kilometres of the finest trails and lines make the region around Hechenberg a popular Bike-Eldorado. Specially signposted e-bike-tours, gravel-bike-routes, mountain bike routes and much more ensure plenty of variety on your bike holidays.

Climbing fans looking for thrills and a large selection of difficulty levels need look no more:

The downhill runs of various levels of difficulty and the snow- and funparks ensure fun and variety on the mountain. NEW: With the ticket network SKI ALPIN Card our guests can enjoy 408 kilometres of pistes, 121 lifts and almost 100 lodges and mountain restaurants.

140 kilometres of winter hiking trails allow guests to enjoy winter completely at leisure. The trails winding through the sparkling snowy landscape are ploughed regularly and lead to the most scenic viewpoints in the valley. Here you’ll be stomping past frozen streams and through peaceful forests towards the winter sun.

Tobogganing is fun for the whole family – all the better that in Saalbach Hinterglemm you’ll find a good selection of toboggan runs. Right opposite Apartmenthotel Hechenberg is the toboggan run on Reiterkogel Mountain. Toboggans are available for rent right at the toboggan run. The 3.5-kilometre-long toboggan run is a true highlight for young and old.

In the Hinterglemm valley head you can experience a horse-drawn sleigh tour. The kind horses pull visitors through the sparkling snowy landscape. This outing is a very special experience for the whole family and you’ll get to experience winter in Saalbach from its most peaceful side.

Especially since the merger with the neighbouring Fieberbrunn the area, the Skicircus is regarded as a perfect terrain for freeriders. Swing down the fresh, new snow, enjoy the Alpine landscape high up in the mountains – skiing bliss in Saalbach does not end away from the pistes.
